“Bata” is a Filipino term for child. In Negros, “bata-bata” is a term employed to refer to a handcrafted doll or a makeshift toy in lieu of a real bird.
Jojo Vito Designs Gallery created Masskara Caricatures as souvenir items called as “Bata-bata”. Bata-Bata is a comic representation of Filipinos representing various sectors in the society such as sport enthusiasts, tribal communities, scholars, doctors, actors, and so on
These caricatures were designed holding a happy feathered mask and in various positions.
“Bata-bata” is a handcrafted rendition in fiber glass, hand painted and accessorize with feathers for a complete Masskara look. These “Bata-bata” can be customized by writing any endearments, names, or corporate names on the shirt of the caricature.
